Should I bring my own rapid COVID-19 tests to CSTE conference?
Yes, all attendees are encouraged to bring their own COVID-19 rapid tests so you may promptly test should you develop symptoms while attending the conference.
What should I do if I develop COVID-19 symptoms while attending the CSTE Conference?
Persons with COVID-19 symptoms and/or a positive COVID-19 test should isolate in their hotel room and not attend any in– person conference activities or events. Please do not approach CSTE staff or other attendees if you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19. Instead , please notify the CSTE COVID-19 Triage Team by emailing [email protected] and refer to the most recent CDC isolation guidelines for how to safely seperate from others.
If I do not want to utilize the onsite COVID-19 testing services, what are my other options?
How will CSTE be communicating with conference attendees if anyone associated with the conference tests positive for COVID-19?
All in-person attendees of the CSTE conference will receive a daily courtesy email reporting the aggregate number of in-person attendees who have reported a positive COVID-19 test. CSTE does not intend to conduct any contact tracing to make notifications of potential exposure. Please refer to the COVID-19 Policy and Procedures for precautions all attendees should take to mitigate risk of COVID-19 exposure while attending the conference.
If I test positive for COVID-19 while attending the CSTE Conference, is financial assistance available to me?
CSTE does not provide financial assistance for medical treatment, hotel accommodations, or travel to return home should an attendee develop COVID-19 symptoms or test positive for COVID-19 while attending the conference. Please see the CSTE Annual Conference Waiver.
Should I notify anyone at CSTE if I test positive following attendance at the conference?
Yes, if you test positive for COVID-19 up to five (5) days after returning home, please notify CSTE by emailing [email protected].

- Attendees with COVID-19 related health questions should contact CSTE by emailing [email protected].
- Attendees experiencing potential symptoms of COVID-19 during the conference should remain in their hotel room, get tested for COVID-19, and seek medical care. Attendees should not return to in-person attendance until they receive a negative COVID test result and symptoms have resolved. Attendees should notify CSTE by emailing [email protected].
